Job Description:

Our client is in search of a Marketing Specialist to join its dynamic Marketing Team. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with staff from each company division and report to the Director of Marketing.

Job Summary:
This full-time position will support the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Team, with a particular focus on the Content Team. In this role, you will work with a diverse team of creative professionals, including a Social Media Specialist, Video Editor, Graphic Designer, Content Writer, Web Content Editor, and Digital Marketing Associate. You’ll be responsible for executing marketing strategies, coordinating campaigns, optimizing processes, and driving the department's overall success. You will be the primary liaison between key lines of business and the Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand guidelines.
  • Manage workflow and communication among the team, including social media, content, graphic design, and email marketing, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives using key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement engaging content that supports brand objectives and enhances customer engagement.
  • Oversee project timelines, task management, and resource allocation in conjunction with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure that deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for various lines of business regarding project statuses
    and processes.
  • Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and contractors as needed, managing relationships and deliverables.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with broader business goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries and field and funnel incoming requests appropriately.
  • Develop and pitch compelling and newsworthy stories to the press as needed.
  • Build, maintain, and manage corporate and divisions’ brand reputation by monitoring digital media.
  • Liaise with the legal team to ensure documents such as contest and giveaway Terms and Conditions, Influencer contracts, Student Ambassador contracts, and other legal documents about marketing efforts are up-to-date and in line with industry standards.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts.
  • Brainstorming creative ideas and contributing to a collaborative team culture
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and driving results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with Press Relations
  • Proficiency in project management tools (ex: Monday.com) and marketing software (ex: Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well independently and with a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment

Work Environment

This job operates in a hybrid environment. The company offers a 35-hour work week, Monday-Friday, during business hours, 9 am - 5 pm. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut, office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
