Private Equity Accountant

Job Description:

Growing FinTech/alternative investment firm located in Greenwich, CT, with an amazing technology platform (that has been consistently praised by Forbes and others year after year) seeks to hire an Associate for their Private Capital Fund group.

This team is responsible for several fund-related tasks, including administration and accounting. The firm is onsite Monday - Thursday and compensation includes base pay, bonus and stock.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Review third-party administrator-prepared trial balances, financial statements, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness every quarter.
• Assist with audit inquiries and provide support for year-end audited financial statements for each feeder fund.
• Review investor allocations and provide reporting to clients and their investors.
• Calculate feeder fund capital events based on cash activity, cash balances, and cash reserve guidelines, and follow the procedure to communicate decisions with clients and their investors
• Facilitate ad-hoc requests from various teams within the organization, including fund data requests, investor requests, and client requests.
