Tax Manager

Currently seeking a Tax Manager for a position at a growing CPA firm located in southern Fairfield County. The public accounting firm has been in business for over thirty years and provides professional tax and accounting services for a diversified client base, including high net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.The firm has a culture that drives professional development, independence, and career advancement. We are searching for candidates who will be a long-term asset to our dynamic team.Tax Manager Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of all types of tax returns (including business, individual, estate, trusts)
• Tax planning for businesses and individuals.
• Perform research and prepare memorandums.
• Assist clients with tax audits and IRS or state correspondence.
• Oversee compliance, due dates, and miscellaneous tax projects.
• Report to the partners routinely.
