Our client is seeking a Director of Human Resources. Serving as a business partner and peer to the company’s executive management team, the Director of HR is responsible for overall management and ongoing process improvement of the company’s recruitment function to attract and retain a talented and diverse workforce, as well as broad generalist human resources responsibilities that include administration of existing policies and programs, performance management, and as described below. The position reports to the President & CEO and collaborates closely with our General Counsel/Compliance Officer.Typical Work Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (but expected to work early or late as may be needed to meet responsibilities; this is an exempt role) Position Location: 5 days onsite in Yonkers, NY Salary Range: $95(k) - $140(k) BOEResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and meet the company’s staffing goals
  • Source candidates, interview coordination, hiring and onboarding
  • Performance Management
  • Administration of HR programs
  • General HR Administration - Recordkeeping (electronic file management), FMLA, DBL, PFL
  • EEO Compliance
  • 401K Administration
  • Hiring and Turnover Reporting
  • With the guidance of the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Office, responsible for ensuring policies and procedures comply with employment laws and regulations
  • Employee Communications
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as may be required or assigned
