Controller

Our client, a light manufacturing and distribution company with over 60 years of history, seeks to hire a Controller. This hands-on position will report to the CFO and be responsible for all accounting and financial activity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.This is a great opportunity to be involved with the heart of the business and make an impact by implementing and approving upon existing processes, controls and procedures.Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and payroll. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide strategic insights to senior management. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements. • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to optimize profitability. • Assist in financial risk assessment and implement best practices to minimize exposure. • Support leadership in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
